Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA)

 In July 2012, California public schools began implementation of curriculum promoting positive digital citizenship for all students. The adoption of the curriculum was part of the Child Internet Protection Act or CIPA. To support the implementation, Elk Grove Unified School District collaborates with Common Sense Media to create lessons and curriculum meeting the CIPA requirements our teachers can use in class.
